Pakistan National Cricket Team lost the first match against England. Babar Azam missed the match because of an injury, but is likely to make a return for the next match, which will be at Lord's. Ahead of the Lord's Test, former England fast bowler Stuart Broad said that to defeat England in their own backyard, Pakistan will have to produce some big knocks. Broad told Jos Buttler that a 250-run innings from Azam's bat is not impossible.
In the previous match, which was in Leeds, Pakistan batters could not hold on to the ground against the England fast bowlers. Ollie Robinson and Josh Tongue took wickets for fun in both innings. If Babar returns for the Lord's Test, he will have to carry extra responsibility as the captain and a key batter of the team.

Babar Azam is still doubtful for the upcoming match against England, which will start on August 27. International media reports are strongly suggesting that the experienced batter will be available to play the Lord's Test. Stuart Broad felt that to counter England, the Pakistan cricket team needs to keep Babar in the playing XI as he has the capacity to produce an incredible knock.
"But yeah, Pakistan will need a big change of luck to threaten England in the second test. And they can. Babar Azam could get 250... when you've got those sort of players in there. And that's what they'll have to hope for," Stuart Broad said to Jos Buttler in a 'For the Love of Cricket' video.

Broad in the video earlier mentioned that Babar Azam will have to play the match; at least to support the team, he will have to walk into theLord's Cricket Ground, recovering from the injury he received ahead of the first Test match of the series against England. Broad observed that as a batting unit, the Men in Green looked very fragile against the England pacers.
"Babar Azam might be playing. We've just done a segment on him not playing, but no, he wasn't playing. He had a bruised hand. I'm sure he'll come back in at Lords. They hav e to. They have to bring him back. They look very, very fragile as a batting group. And he's their best player," Stuart Broad said.
England vs Pakistan Lord's Test is expected to be played on a flat surface
The former cricketer expected to see a batting-friendly surface in London where batters can enjoy their outings. Broad mentioned the England vs New Zealand match at the ground where the visiting batters performed well.
"I think Lord's will be very, very keen to have a batter-friendly surface. If it's like it did against New Zealand, where they had, you know, Latham, Ravindra, Williamson, Mitchell, Blundell. I mean, this game could one-daye day game. So they're going to try and make it flatter," he added.
