Ireland’s wicket-keeper batter Lorcan Tucker showed immense mental application on the 3rd day of the Bangladesh Test match. Lorcan Tucker struck a fine century & became the second Irish batter to score a ton for Ireland in the Test arena after the former all-rounder Kevin O Brien.
Ireland were in a precarious position at 51-5 & trailing by yet another 104 runs. The spinners were getting assistance from the track as they bowled quite a wicket to wicket. Harry Tector & Lorcan Tucker started rebuilding the innings & made sure that they don’t panic even after playing a string of dot balls.
Harry Tector & Lorcan Tucker were involved in a partnership of 72 runs. Harry Tector played a gruelling knock of 56 runs in 159 balls as the conditions were quite tough for the batters. Harry Tector struck 7 fours & 1 six & frustrated the bowlers with his sheer defence & brisk stroke play.
Lorcan Tucker on fire

Great chance for Bangladesh
The Bangladeshi Tigers would be quite delighted & pumped up as the partnership was looking threatening. Skipper Shakib al Hasan would sense that they can restrict Ireland under 130 runs as chasing could get difficult on Day 4, the pitch has started to become a minefield.
Ireland on the other hand would be banking on Andy McBrine to bat till the end of the innings & play a significant knock. The left-handed batter has got a good reputation with the bat in the white ball format, it won’t be a surprise if he unleashes an attack on the opposition as all the runs would be invaluable from now onwards.
