BAN vs NZ Live- How To Watch The Match Live In Your Country? New Zealand tour of Bangladesh 2021, 3rd T20I. After winning the first T20 international by 7 wickets, Bangladesh registered their second consecutive win against New Zealand in the five-match T20 series on Friday.

Bangladesh batted first this time and posted a good-looking 141-run total in the first innings. Naim and Liton Das gave Bangladesh a safe start, managing 59 runs in 9.3 overs before Das went back to the hut for 33 off 29. Keeping in mind the slow pitch and a lot of turn on the surface, the openers set the right foundation for a winning score at Shere Bangla Stadium.

However, Ravindra and McConchie took the team back into the game after picking three quick wickets. Das (33 off 29), Rahim (0 of 1) and Shakib Al Hasan (12 off 7) got out in the space of nine deliveries.

Mahmuddullah, however, then joined hands with Naim to lead Bangladesh’s recovery. Naim scored 39 runs off as many deliveries before getting out in the 16th over. The skipper, however, made great use of the pace offered by New Zealand seamers in the final few overs of the innings and scored some crucial boundaries. He remained unbeaten on 37 off 32 deliveries as Bangladesh managed to score 141 runs in the first innings.

New Zealand’s openers, once again, couldn’t get the team to give a good start. Blundell and Ravindra both got out inside the first four overs. Tom Latham, however, promoted himself at number three on Friday and played a rock-solid inning. He was brilliant in his approach but found little support at the other end.

He added 43 runs with Will Young (22 off 28) for the third wicket but Colin de Grandhomme (8) and Henry Nicholls (6) had little to contribute. Tom Latham, however, held firm and played right till the end of the innings.

He scored 65 runs off 49 balls, a knock which was laced with 6 fours and 1 six. He took the game till the last over. 20 runs were needed in the final 6 balls, which later was reduced to 8 of the final two. Latham, however, could only manage 3 runs in the last 2 balls.
