Bangladesh ODI, T20I Squads For New Zealand Tour Announced

On Thursday, November 30, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squads of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team for the upcoming white-ball tour of New Zealand.

The Bangla Tigers are currently involved in a two-match Test series against the Black Caps at home. At the end of Day 3, the hosts were leading by 205 runs with 7 wickets in hand. After the conclusion of the match, the teams will take on each other in the second Test from December 6 to 10 before traveling to New Zealand for the white-ball series.

The ODI matches are set to be played on December 17, 20 and 23 in Dunedin, Nelson and Napier. While the T20Is will be played on December 27, 29, and 31 in Napier and Mount Maunganui.

Bangladesh National Cricket Team will be led by a new skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto in both the T20I and ODI series with Mehidy Hasan Miraz being named as vice-captain.

Star batsman Litton Das will return to the setup after missing the ongoing series with a paternity leave break. However, star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and pacer Taskin Ahmed, who were injured, will not be part of the Bangladesh tour of New Zealand.
