Openers: Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon
Bangladesh will open the innings in the first T20I against Sri Lanka with Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon.
The duo also opened the innings in the three-match ODI series that preceded the T20Is, but were not able to form a solid partnership together.
Having said that, both batters were able to perform well individually with fifties in the first two games.
Pavez and Tanzid will look to get the team off to a quick start in the upcoming game and lay a platform for the batters to come.
Both openers will have to take the responsibility upon themself to score runs in the first six overs, given the form of the middle order to add to the experience that the team has at its disposal.
This format might suit the Bangladeshi batters as they have to play at one tempo for the major part of the innings.

The only positive thing for the visitors, as far as the team's middle-order batting is concerned, is the presence of the T20I captain Litton Das and ODI captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
Both batters are relatively more experienced than others and will look to make full use of that while batting in the middle overs.
The onus will be on Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz to guide the team to an above-par total to make things difficult for the opposition.
The duo will expect to get good support from Hridoy, Jaker Ali, and Shamim Hossain, all of whom will be disappointed by the way they got in the final ODI and would like to put on a strong performance.
Bowlers: Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Nasum Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman
Unlike the batting, the team's bowling did an excellent job in the entire ODI series by restricting Sri Lanka to a challenging total and will look to keep up the good work.
The visiting side has an in-form pace bowling attack, which will be handled once again by Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Mustafiur Rahman, all of whom bowled well in the final ODI.
