In-form Bangladesh will be looking to end their tour of West Indies on a winning note when both the teams take on each other in the third and final T20I. The upcoming game is scheduled to take place on Friday (December 20) at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown.

The Bangla Tigers won the second game by 27 runs to clinch the series. Batting first, the tourists posted a challenging total of 129/9 in 20 overs. Shamim Hossain once again impressed with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 35 runs from just 17 balls.

In reply, West Indies were bowled out for only 102 runs. At one stage, they were reeling at 42/6 and even the 100-run mark looked tough. However, Roston Chase (32) and Akeal Hosein (31) came up with useful cameos to guide their team to a respectable total.

As the Bangla Tigers eye another win over the beleaguered hosts, we are taking a look at the Bangladesh Playing 11 for the third and final T20I against West Indies.

Bangladesh Playing 11 vs West Indies - 3rd T20I, Bangladesh tour of West Indies 2024:

Openers: Litton Das, Tanzid Hasan

The Bangla Tigers have lost the services of Soumya Sarkar for the third T20I. The opening batsman has been sidelined with a finger injury. In his absence, captain Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan are likely to be the openers in the Bangladesh Playing 11.

Tanzid opened the innings in the first game before being replaced by Litton for the second game. Both the batsmen are yet to reach the double-digit mark with the bat in the series and will be keen to end the series on a good note.

Middle-order batsmen and allrounders: Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Jaker Ali, Mahedi Hasan, Shamim Hossain

With Sarkar sidelined, Afif Hossain is likely to be recalled to the Bangladesh Playing 11. Afif played in the first game and scored 8 runs before being dropped. Mehidy Hasan Miraz played a crucial 26-run knock in the second T20I and will be eyeing more success with the bat.

Jaker Ali played a crucial 27-run knock in the series opener before scoring 21 runs in the second game. With form on his side, he will be eyeing another good outing with the bat.

Mahedi Hasan and Shamim Hossain have impressed one and all with their performance in the series so far. In the first game, Mahedi scored an unbeaten 26 before taking 4 wickets with the ball, and in the second game, he picked up 2 wickets and scored 11 runs.

Shamim, on the other hand, played match-winning cameos in both games. In the first T20I, he scored 27 runs from just 13 balls and in the second game, Shamim scored an unbeaten 35 off 17 balls.

Bowlers: Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud

Bangladesh's bowlers have done amazing work in the series so far. After defending 147 runs in the first game, they defended 129 runs in the second T20I. It won't be surprising if the tourists do not make any changes to their bowling lineup for the upcoming game.

Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Taskin Ahmed, and Hasan Mahmud are likely to be the four specialist bowlers in the Bangladesh Playing 11.
