Bangladesh Squad for ICC World Cup 2023, Schedule 2023, Match List, Team List, Players List. Bangladesh is one of the 10 teams in ICC World Cup 2023. They will play their opening game of the tournament against Afghanistan. The clash takes place on October 7.
ICC World Cup 2023 starts on October 5. India is the host of the tournament. India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, England, South Africa, and the Netherlands will wrestle in the ICC World Cup 2023.

ICC World Cup 2023 will witness a round-robin format. Hence, Bangladesh will play a total of 9 games during the league stage of the tournament. Bangladesh will play their last league match against Australia on November 11.
ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will observe 48 games among 10 teams. The final takes place on November 19. After the league stage, the top four teams will reach the semi-finals. The winners of the semis will wrestle in the final.
Bangladesh failed to qualify for the semi-final in the previous edition of the ODI World Cup. Bangladesh finished in the 8th spot in the points table after the league stage. Bangladesh has never won any ODI World Cup title in the past.
Shakib Al Hasan was recently appointed as ODI skipper of Bangladesh. The all-rounder will also lead the team in ICC World Cup 2023. Litton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mustafizur Rahman, and Taskin Ahmed are a few key players for Bangladesh in the World Cup.

Bangladesh Squad for ICC World Cup 2023
Bangladesh is yet to name its squad for the ICC World Cup 2023. Shakib Al Hasan is going to lead the team in the tournament. The deadline to submit the squad to ICC is September 28.
Hence, Bangladesh will soon announce their squad for the tournament. They recently named their squad for Asia Cup 2023. A similar squad might take up the field during the ICC World Cup 2023 too.
