Pakistan has scheduled a 3-match white ball series against Bangladesh from the 20th of July to the 24th of July. The three matches will be played in the shortest format of the game, the T20s, as these might prove handy as preparations for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
India also had one such white-ball series scheduled to be played against Bangladesh, but the two boards jointly postponed it to more than a year back, citing the current political unrest between the two nations. Sri Lanka, instead, has moved forward with a similar proposal to conduct a white-ball series with the India team in the same window.
As of now, the team that had lost a T20I series against Pakistan when they toured Pakistan back in May will look to better their chances this time around. They would be high on morale after the recent win over Sri Lanka on their soil. The squad for the upcoming home tour has been announced.
Bangladesh retained their full squad for the Home T20s
Bangladesh announced their squad for the three-match home T20I series against Pakistan, and they have not made a single change from the previous squad that was part of the Sri Lanka T20s.
The series will include three T20I matches to be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Bangladesh's historic win over Sri Lanka in the T20I series
After losing the Test series and the ODI series as well, Bangladesh was hopeful only in the shortest format of the game. However, the home side gave a huge jolt to their ambitions at Pallekele when they won by a huge margin.
However, this was just the beginning, as Litton Das, the skipper himself, led the charge of batting from the front and earned a huge comeback win over the Lankans in the second T20 at Dambulla.
The third match also went in favour of the Bengal Tigers, as Mahedi Hasan and Tanzid Hasan powered the side to their second T20I series win, coming from the back. This was the second time it happened after it happened against the West Indies back in 2018.
Mahedi took a 4-fer, while Tanzid scored a stunning 47-ball 73 to give his nation the series win after winning the match by 8 wickets.
Preparations in full swing: Eyeing maiden Asia Cup title
Litton Das has made a considerable rise in cricket, as they have beaten Sri Lanka in a series on their own land. He became the first Bangladesh skipper to have recorded such a feat twice against two different oppositions.
After being named the Player of the Series for his commendable presence with the bat, Litton would next be eyeing the Asia Cup 2025, as the Bengal Tigers still await their maiden title in the continental championship.
