Bangladesh tour of Pakistan is almost finalized as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) received the nod from their government to travel to Pakistan later this month.
The reports claimed that the tour would go ahead without compromising the dates or venue, but BCB is still awaiting the official letter from the government to confirm the Pakistan tour.

BCB awaits an official announcement from the government
BCB officials stated that they have received the green signal from the government, but the official letter is yet to be signed by the government.
The officials will also discuss with their players about the Pakistan tour before traveling to Pakistan because some players are reluctant to travel to Pakistan due to security reasons.
"We have got the green signal (from the government) though we are yet to receive the official letter which we are expecting sooner than latter but as far as I know government have taken the decision in principle that they will let us visit Pakistan for the upcoming tour," a BCB official stated.
"After getting the official letter from the government, we will start talking with our players as we learned that some of them are reluctant to travel, citing security reasons. One thing we can assure is that we won't push anyone," he added.
Both cricket boards have to decide on the new dates for the T20I series, and also, the games will be played on the same two grounds in Faisalabad and Lahore.
Bangladesh tour of Pakistan fixture rescheduled because of PSL
Earlier, the Bangladesh tour of Pakistan was originally set at Faisalabad on May 25, but Pakistan’s T20 league, PSL, was suspended for a week due to security concerns.
Now PSL final is set for May 25, and the new official fixture hasn’t been revealed yet for the Bangladesh T20I series.
Two Bangladeshi players were playing in the PSL, and now, after the resumption, Shakib-al-Hasan will also participate in the tournament. Rishad Hossain and Nahid Rana represented Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi, respectively, in the league.
Bangladesh-Pakistan T20I series dates
PCB sent the revised proposed schedule to the Bangladesh team on May 13, but BCB has yet to approve the revised schedule.
The first match of the T20I series is just one day after the PSL final. The first three T20I matches will be in Faisalabad on May 27, 29, and June 1. The last two T20I matches will be hosted by Lahore on June 3 and 5.
Bangladesh team is currently in Sharjah for the UAE tour as they will take on the UAE for a two-match T20I series, starting from May 17. Litton Das is captaining the side against the young UAE side.
