Bangladesh vs West Indies 2021, 3rd ODI: Match Preview
Bangladesh
The hosts Bangladesh have already secured this ODI series by comfortably winning both the first two ODIs of this series. In both the ODIs, the hosts were totally in control as the inexperienced visitors West Indies failed to manage the 150 totals.
Shakib Al Hasan has made a strong return to the international cricket. While the left-arm spinner has taken six wickets (4/8 & 2/30) in this series, the left-handed batsman has also scored 62 runs (19 & 43*). While Shakib won the Player of the Match award in the first ODI, Mehidy Hasan Miraz won the Player of the Match award in the last ODI for his impressive bowling performance of 9.4-0-25-4.
Also, skipper Tamim Iqbal showed his strong performances with the bat in both the ODIs by scoring 44 and 50. The left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has also taken two wickets each in both the ODIs (2/20 & 2/15). Also, the new right-arm pacer Hasan Mahmud has got four wickets, including three wickets on his debutant ODI (3/28 & 1/54).

West Indies
As expected, the inexperienced West Indies ODI team has failed to put any challenges over the strong hosts Bangladesh. Talking about their some good fighting batting performances, we can only name debutant Kyle Mayers’ 40 in the first ODI and Rovman Powell‘s 41 in the second ODI, who also scored 28 runs in the opening game of this ODI series.
As the Caribbean batsmen failed in both the first innings, there were nothing much for the West Indies bowlers in the first two ODIs. The left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein showed some good bowling skills in his first two ODIs of his career. While he made ODI debut with the bowling figures of 3/26, he managed another wicket in the next ODI (1/45).
Full Squad
Jason Mohammed (C), Sunil Ambris (vc), Nkrumah Bonner, Joshua Da Silva, Jahmar Hamilton, Chemar Holder, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Kyle Mayers, Andre McCarthy, Kjorn Ottley, Rovman Powell, Raymon Reifer, Keon Harding
Bangladesh vs West Indies 2021, 3rd ODI: Match Prediction
The hosts Bangladesh have already secured this ODI series. But while this series is the part of the 2020–23 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, Bangladesh will try their best to maintain this form, who have won all the last seven ODIs against the West Indies team.
So, undoubtedly, Bangladesh are totally favourite for the final ODI of this series.
