Barmy Army trolls Virat Kohli over shocking dismissal in Pune Test, quickly deletes post

India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli didn't have a great outing with the bat in the ongoing second Test of the series against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The two teams are crossing swords with each other at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

Virat Kohli, who has a stellar record in Pune, was expected to play a big innings for the team, especially with him scoring 70 runs in the last match. But that wasn't the case as his lean phase in the Tests in 2024 continued, bagging another low score in the whites for the team.

Kohli, who walked out to bat at No.4, bagged one of the most dreadful dismissals in his career. The premier batter got bowled on a full toss ball, and it made everyone stunned as such an error was not expected by a batter of his caliber.

Mitchell Santner bowled a low full toss that slid on towards the middle stump. Virat Kohli played an unlike hack across the line and ended up playing the wrong line as the ball sneaked under his bat as well. The ball went on to hit the middle and leg, and the batter was back in the hut.

Virat Kohli was criticized a lot by the fans on social as many lashed out at him for not living up to the expectation. But the most brutal troll came from England's famous Barmy Army. They took a jibe at the premier India batter for getting out on full toss.

Virat Kohli couldn't score big with the bat as he was back in the hut after scoring 1 run off 9 balls. He hasn't looked his best in Test cricket as in the games that he played in 2024, the premier batter managed just only fifty, which came in the last match.
