The likes of Nicholas Pooran, Alex Hales, Rilee Rossouw, and former South African skipper Faf du Plessis are among the top international names in the upcoming overseas draft of the Big Bash League (BBL).

All these names are seasoned T20 cricketers having plied their trade for several T2o leagues. They score runs consistently which makes them automatic picks for franchise tournaments.

Pooran recently scored an unbeaten 137 to help his side MI New York win the MLC final. The Southpaw previously featured in six matches for the Melbourne Stars in the 2020-2021 season.

Ales Hales has previously played for the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League. With him recently retiring from international cricket, he will be available throughout the season which makes him an enticing pick. Rossuow is fourth in the list of T20I batters while Hales is 13th with both striking over 150 in the BBL.

Faf du Plessis is returning for his second stint in the BBL. He scored an impressive 177 runs in his eight matches for the Perth Scorchers in last year’s Big Bash League season. His experience across different T20 leagues as a top-order batter makes him an automatic selection as well.
