BBL 2023-24: Watch - Marcus Stoinis Takes Sensational Catch To Dismiss Macalister Wright 

Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis produced a moment of magic in match number 17 of the Big Bash League 2023/24 season as he made a diving attempt to complete a catch of Hobart Hurricanes batter Macalister Wright who was batting at a strike rate of almost 174 before departing for 33 runs off 19 deliveries at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.

The commentators were forced to say that Melbourne Stars got lucky to get the wicket of Macalister Wright who was inching closer towards a quickfire half-century. Marcus Stoinis’ teammate Tim David who was fielding near him rushed towards him and gave a high five with the commentators getting surprised by the way the ball was carried to Stoinis’ hands.

The 34-year-old all-rounder Marcus Stoinis reminded a fielding attempt of former New Zealand Captain Brendan McCullum who completed a catch like that in the IPL. There are also a bit of similarities between the 2 in terms of their Muscular body.
