We Are Famous for Atithi Devo Bhava - Sunil Gavaskar
Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar described the incident as shocking and completely against India’s cultural values. Gavaskar urged strict legal action against the perpetrator, calling for severe punishment to ensure justice is served.
"Yes, I think because we are famous for Atithi Devo Bhava, to hear of this is very, very sad. It is, without question, a heinous incident. Just lock him up and throw the keys away," Sunil Gavaskar told India Today.
The Australian women’s team has a remarkable campaign in the Women’s World Cup. They are unbeaten and at the top of the points table. Out of seven matches played, they have secured victory in six, with one match ending in no result.
