Beau Webster, who has received a limited number of opportunities so far to represent the Australian National Cricket Team, said that he and Cameron Green could form a good pair on the ground for the Tests against Bangladesh.
Webster, who has played only 8 Test matches for the national side, already feels that the longest format of the game perfectly suits him. Green, however, has never claimed such, as he plays for the Australia National Cricket Team in both red and white-ball formats. Despite a very limited number of opportunities, Beau Webster, 32, impressed with his previous performance.
In 13 innings, he scored 452 runs with a batting average of 41.09, supported by five half-centuries. With the ball, the right-hander snatched 11 wickets in as many games. Ahead of the series against Bangladesh, Webster is backed by some fascinating numbers he produced for Warwickshire in the Vitality Blast Men's tournament.

With an average slightly over 48, the all-rounder smashed 578 runs in 12 matches for Warwickshire, and claimed 8 wickets, with an economy rate below nine.
"I'd probably say that that was the biggest tick over the last 12 months, where I'm confident in my game that I've done at domestic level holds up at international level, and hopefully it can continue, and I can keep contributing with bat and ball," Beau Webster told the reporters in Darwin.
Cameron Green was the last man to enter the nets. If the team management decides to play him, then which position will he bat? The question remains as the all-rounder batted at No. 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 across his last nine Test innings.

In comparison of both of the pace bowling all-rounders' international and domestic cricket stats, Cameron Green is ahead of Webster. If the team management prefers to support experience, then Green can make the final cut.
"Absolutely, I don't see why not. I always said in the last sort of 12 to 24 months, when these conversations come up, it's surely more of a benefit to have more options in that top seven with the ball, and I certainly don't see it as a direct competition," Webster said when he was asked whether both of the pace bowling all-rounders can play together in the upcoming Test match.
"I feel like it only adds more options and more benefits for the captain if we're obviously both performing with the bat, which is probably both our main skill and what we can offer in the field. I love playing with Cameron," he added.
