Best SRH Playing 11 for IPL 2025

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have bolstered their squad with some new additions in the recently concluded IPL 2025 mega auction. Ahead of the auction, they had retained the core of the team and had signed several big players for the new season.

The likes of Ishan Kishan, Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel, and Adam Zampa will be a part of the Hyderabad-based outfit for IPL 2025.

SRH will be looking to go all the way next season after the runners-up finish in IPL 2024. Here we are taking a look at the SRH Playing 11 for IPL 2025.

Sunrisers Hyderabad squad:

Pat Cummins, Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Travis Head, Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel, Ishan Kishan, Rahul Chahar, Adam Zampa, Atharva Taide, Abhinav Manohar, Simarjeet Singh, Zeeshan Ansari, Jaydev Unadkat, Brydon Carse, Kamindu Mendis, Aniket Verma, Eshan Malinga, Sachin Baby.

SRH Playing 11 for IPL 2025:

Openers: Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head

Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head will be the openers for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025. Both the players had set the IPL 2024 on fire with their batting and will be eyeing a similar outing in the upcoming season as well.

Sharma had scored 484 runs at a strike rate of more than 204 while Head had smashed 567 runs at a strike rate of more than 190.

Middle-order batsmen and allrounders: Ishan Kishan, Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Atharva Taide, Abhinav Manohar

SRH's middle-order will be bolstered by the addition of Ishan Kishan. The wicketkeeper-batsman has a point to prove after being dropped from the Indian team earlier this year and will be eyeing a strong show in IPL 2025.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will be relying heavily on Heinrich Klaasen to power them to winning totals and the South Africa star will be keen to justify the franchise's decision to retain him. Nitish Reddy had a brilliant debut season in the IPL earlier this year and he will be looking to build on that.

Atharva Taide is also likely to get a good run in the IPL this year. He has played 9 games so far and has scored two fifties.

He will be eyeing more impressive displays in IPL 2025. The other finisher in the team is likely to be Abhinav Manohar. Manohar impressed with his finishing skills for Gujarat Titans and will be looking to do the same for SRH as well.

Bowlers: Pat Cummins, Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel, Rahul Chahar/Adam Zampa

Sunrisers Hyderabad is likely to play the game with three frontline pacers and one spinner. Captain Pat Cummins is set to spearhead the attack and will have the likes of Mohammed Shami and Harshal Patel for company.

For the spinner's role, SRH is set to pick one between Rahul Chahar and Adam Zampa.

Cummins will be looking to lead the team from the front once again while Shami will be keen to make amends after missing the last season due to an injury.

Harshal finished IPL 2024 as the highest wicket-taker and will be eyeing a similar performance while the likes of Chahar and Zampa will be keen to prove themselves in the IPL.
