Bhuvneshwar Kumar Bought By Royal Challengers Bengaluru For INR 10.75 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. The veteran India pacer played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last season of the IPL.
One of the most successful bowlers in the IPL, Bhuvneshwar has been playing in the competition since 2011. He made his debut in the competition in 2011 while representing the now-defunct Pune Warriors India. Bhuvneshwar enjoyed his breakthrough season in 2013 when he picked up 13 wickets while maintaining an economy rate of less than 7.
Ahead of the 2014 season, Bhuvneshwar was signed up by Sunrisers Hyderabad and he has been playing for them since then. In 2016, he won the IPL with the Sunrisers. Bhuvneshwar was instrumental for the Sunrisers that season as he picked up 23 wickets.
His best season with the ball so far came in 2017 when he picked up 26 wickets. The out-of-favor India pacer has not reached the 20-wicket mark in a season since then. Overall, he has taken 181 wickets in 176 games in the IPL so far.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar Bought By Royal Challengers Bengaluru For INR 10.75 crore at IPL Auction 2025
Royal Challengers Bengaluru have signed up Bhuvneshwar Kumar for INR 10.75 crore at IPL 2025 mega auction. Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants were involved in a bidding war for the pacer.
They took the price to INR 10.50 crore where Mumbai Indians decided to pull out. The Royal Challengers then made just one bid to secure the services of the pacer.
