Perth Scorchers are currently waiting for their first victory in the ongoing BBL 10. In their first three matches of this tournament, they suffered two defeats and the other one had no result.

English cricketers Liam Livingstone and Jason Roy are the new addition in this squad. Surely, it will give huge boost to this team. Meanwhile, another English cricketer Joe Clarke has left out this squad, who joined as a injury replacement player. While it will be the first service for Jason Roy for Perth Scorchers, Liam Livingstone was the leading run-scorer (425 runs) for this team in the BBL 09.

In the Vitality Blast 2020, Livingstone scored 192 runs (average 27.42; strike-rate 156.09) and also took 9 wickets in seven games. Though Jason Roy recently scored 0, 14 and 16 runs respectively during the T20I series against the hosts South Africa, he was in better form during the Vitality Blast 2020. While he scored 206 runs in that tournament (average 41.20; strike-rate 131.21), he scored three fifties in last four games, including the final.

Mitchell Marsh recorded one half-century in the previous game while Colin Munro played the only other 40+ knock for this team in this season as he once scored 49.

Among their bowlers, only Jhye Richardson has managed to pick up three wickets in this season.

Out of their first four matches in this season, Adelaide Strikers won twice and lost twice.

Captain Alex Carey and Harry Conway have returned to the squad while Ryan Gibson has recovered from the injury.

However, the leg-spinner Rashid Khan’s availability is still not confirm for this upcoming match. While a recent scan has revealed a low-grade hamstring strain, Rashid will have to prove his fitness ahead of Monday’s clash. Earlier, on Sunday, he practiced with the team.

Skipper Alex Carey, Daniel Worrall and Jake Weatherald have scored one half-century each in this season. Meanwhile, Peter Siddle and Wes Agar have taken 8 and 7 wickets respectively. Also, Daniel Worrall and Rashid Khan both have bagged 5 wickets each in this tournament.
