Adelaide Oval (Adelaide) will host the match between Perth Scorchers vs Adelaide Strikers. It will be the first game of this season at this venue.

In the last BBL season, Adelaide Oval hosted a total of eight matches. Generally, the first batting sides dominated in the last BBL season as the first batting side won six matches, while the second batting teams managed to win only two games. Even, a second batting team failed to chase just the 150+ target in the BBL 09.

One match in the BBL 09 was also a high-scoring game between Adelaide Strikers and Hobert Hurricanes as both sides managed to score 200+ totals but the first batting side Hurricanes managed to win that game by 10 runs.

However, due to the early summer condition, the toss winning captain may also take the risk of chasing the target on Monday evening.
