Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Thunder will play their return fixture in the ongoing BBL 10 at Carrara Oval or Metricon Stadium. This venue has already hosted two matches in the ongoing BBL season.

On 26th December, Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars faced each other at this venue. While Stars scored 193/5 (20 overs) in the first batting, Sixers were initially struggling but they ultimately chased down that target in 19.5 overs after losing 9 wickets.

Three days later (29th December), Sydney Sixers played against Melbourne Renegades at this same venue. After Renegades managed to score 168/6 (20 overs), Sixers chased down that target in 19.5 overs losing 8 wickets.

So, we have experienced close but two successful chasings at this venue in this BBL season. However, in the late summer, this venue generally supports the first batting side.
