On 28th December, Adelaide Strikers and Perth Scorchers faced each other at this venue. While Strikers scored 165/8 (20 overs), Scorchers were bundled out for just 94 runs (15.2 overs). They again met at this venue on 31st December, where Scorchers took the revenge after by successfully chasing 147 runs target in 17.4 overs after losing only three wickets.

Later, early this month, Adelaide Strikers faced Melbourne Renegades twice at this venue. On 5th January, during their first meeting of this season, while Strikers scored 171/5 (20 overs), Renegades only replied with 111 runs (19.1 overs). But while they faced each other once again at this venue on 8th January, Renegades successfully chased down the 178 runs target in 19.5 overs after losing four wickets.

However, the recent past records tell that the 170-175+ totals are generally defendable in this T20 venue.
