Then Hobart Hurricanes failed to chase the 168 runs target against Sydney Thunder as Hurricanes only managed to reply with 128/8.

In the last game at this venue, Perth Scorchers (185/6) again managed to score 180+ total in the first innings. Later, Sydney Thunder were all out for 168 runs.

There is no doubt that the first batting side will be favourite to claim a victory on Tuesday during the meeting between Scorchers and Hurricanes.
