Former Australia spinner, Brad Hogg makes his prediction for the upcoming Test series between India and England. India, who is bolstered by the return of Virat Kohli, will host Jor Root’s side for a 4 Test match series starting 5th February.

The first two matches will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, and for which both the squad have been announced. The next couple of Tests are slated to be played at the newly built 110,000-seater Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. The third Test of the series is a Day-night contest to be played with the pink ball.

India are going to win this series 3-0, or 3-1: Brad Hogg

Brad Hogg opines that India is going to win the series comfortably. He predicts a 3-0 or a 3-1 scoreline in favour of the hosts. Hogg says that Virat Kohli’s side will easily outmatch their opposition on the spin-friendly pitch in Chennai.

The 49-year-old reckons that the only game where the visitors stand a chance is the day-night Test. Hogg reckons India, who won a historic series in Australia, will win the last Test as well against the Three Lions.

In his YouTube video, Brad Hogg said, “I think India are going to win this series 3-0, or 3-1. I think England will have their day at Ahmedabad in the third Test match. But I think that India will come in and win the final Test match of the series in Ahmedabad.”

The former spinner maintains that the Virat Kohli-led side will dominate England and will go to Lord’s to play the World Test Championship final.

“India are definitely going to win the two Tests in Chennai. So 3-1 and they will go to the World Test Championship (WTC) final at Lords,” Brad Hogg added.
