Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a daughter on Monday. The Indian skipper announced that the couple was pregnant back in September 2020 during the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). The Indian skipper and his wife Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a daughter.

Virat Kohli returned from the Australian tour midway for the birth of his first child. When the Indian team was announced for the Australian tour, it was informed by the BCCI that Virat had requested for a paternal leave which was eventually granted by the board. The Indian skipper and the Bollywood actress flew to Italy for their marriage in 2017 and the marriage took place in a private function.
