India vs England 2nd T20I match has ended in favour of the home side, as the England National Cricket Team won the match by 4 wickets and took a 1- 0 lead in the five-match T20I series. In the 2nd match, Ravi Bishnoi turned out to be the villain as he bowled four overs, leaking 60 runs and failing to pick a wicket.
However, Ravi Bishnoi was criticized for his poor bowling performance and for bowling three no-balls in a game, becoming the first bowler from an ICC full-member nation to bowl three no-balls in a T20I. He bowled two no-balls in the 17th over of the game, which cost the match as India were well in the game before this over.

England needed 49 runs in the final four overs when Ravi Bishnoi came to bowl. His recent no-balls occurred because he overstepped the return crease with his back foot, rather than overstepping the popping crease with his front foot. This cost 29 runs in that 17th over, and the match completely turned in England’s favour with Jacob Bethell taking full advantage of free-hits.
After the match, many former cricketers and experts have slammed the leg-spinner after his poor performance in the game. Now Mohammad Kaif has taken a dig at the young leg-spinner who made a comeback into the side after many years.

Mohammad Kaif, while speaking on his YouTube channel, stated that a spinner bowling a no-ball is a crime. He criticised Ravi Bishnoi’s run-up and revealed that all the great leg-spinners in world cricket have a straight run-up instead of a zig-zag one.
"I am not with Bishnoi, though. A spinner bowling no-balls is a crime. Look at the run-up of some of the greatest leg-spinners. All of them run straight, nobody's angle is zigzag. No one does like that. Every time his run-up changes, action changes. Basics and small things are important."
"You cannot make basic mistakes. It is his mistake. But are the people in the management also looking at this in the nets? They must be telling him about this," he said on his YouTube channel.

Mohammad Kaif also questioned Gautam Gambhir and Shreyas Iyer’s tactics of not playing Ravi Bishnoi in the Ireland series if the 25-year-old was in the plans to play in England. Kaif also feels that the Men in Blue management does not have a clear idea about the best playing XI.
"If Bishnoi was in your plan, then why did he not play in Ireland? If he had gotten a game, he could have made corrections there, and it would have been better for him. Many mistakes have been made. Such situations should not come."
"You should know your best XI. A leg-spinner did not play against Ireland. Bishnoi should have played. We don't know our best XI. England was the bigger series, so he should have played in Ireland first," he remarked.
