Jordan believes that England’s visit to Pakistan will be crucial to bringing the cricket-crazy nation back to normal.
Jordan, 33, will be absent from England’s first official tour there in 17 years, which will come after Australia’s first trip there since 1998 in the spring, due to a fractured middle finger in his right hand.
Only twice had foreign athletes visited the city since 2009, when terrorists ambushed the Sri Lankan squad as they were travelling by bus to the Gaddafi Stadium. Jordan also participated in the next two PSL seasons.

‘I really enjoyed my time in Pakistan,’ he told Sportsmail.
‘The people are amazing. We were well looked after from the security point of view and we were made to feel safe. You’re always pleasantly surprised by the reception you receive there. You can see how much cricket means to the country.’
