Former South Africa National Cricket Team batter Colin Ingram has retired from all forms of cricket. On Tuesday, he announced an end to his professional career after the end of the ongoing County season. He played for Glamorgan for more than a decade and became a part of the County side during these years.
Ingram retired from international cricket back in 2014 before signing with Glamorgan County Cricket Club under a Kolpak ruling. He played his final limited-overs matches for the Proteas in 2013, and since then he has been playing in England and has been part of the domestic side for 11 years. Colin Ingram's career
Colin Ingram represented South Africa in 31 ODIs and 9 T20Is between 2010 and 2013. Scoring 843 runs in the 50-over format and 210 runs in the shortest format of the game.
In 12 matches this season, he scored 628 runs at 31.40, scoring two centuries. Overall, Ingram played 159 first-class games, scoring 10683 runs in a 22-year career; this showcases his amazing consistency in the domestic format. With him taking the coaching role, Glamorgan will hope to do well under him.
