The video shows Ravindra Jadeja, the veteran all-rounder, celebrating in his trademark sword celebration as he poses for the Chennai Super Kings. This has been read as a direct message conveying that Jadeja stays on with the CSK side, and no deal has been planned.
Jadeja remains one of the most experienced and in-form cricketers in the CSK camp. He also performed comprehensively with the bat whenever he was promoted up the order last season and is likely to bat in the middle order the next season, keeping in mind his stellar form with the willow.
Sanju Samson again in the mix-up between Chennai Super Kings and RR trade
As the Rajasthan Royals could not land a deal on their skipper, Sanju Samson, with the Delhi Capitals, since the Capitals looked unwilling to part ways with their young and dynamic star Tristan Stubbs in exchange, the Royals are back to square one.
A trade deal for Samson would help the Royals boost their purse by even more than just releasing him into the auction, and as per the latest reports, the Chennai Super Kings are again in the race for the Indian wicket-keeper. Latest reports have suggested that MS Dhoni has also entered the talks related to Samson's trade to CSK alongside the others in the management, like Kasi Viswanathan, the CEO, Skipper Ruturah Gaikwad, and Stephen Fleming, the head coach.

The real buzz for Chennai Super Kings has been their search for an Indian wicket-keeper batter. As reported by a RevSportz reporter, the franchise might make a move for Ishan Kishan or KL Rahul, the two most prominent wicket-keeper batter options from India.
Though KL Rahul continues to be a major part of the Delhi Capitals' long-term plans, hence, Ishan Kishan, who is most likely to be released by SRH, might be one of the Chennai Super Kings' massive targets in the mini-auction if they fail to land the Samson deal with the Rajasthan Royals.
