Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja came up with a hilarious antic during the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The 39th game of the tournament is underway at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. 

After Chennai Super Kings had a tremendous outing with the bat in the game against Lucknow Super Giants, Ravindra Jadeja made sure that he lightened up the fans' mood with his hilarious gesture at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. 

Ahead of the start of the second innings, Ravindra Jadeja, who was standing near the boundary ropes, came up with a hilarious reaction. He tilted the camera towards him and then made funny and scary faces to leave fans in splits. The video of the incident went viral on the internet within minutes.

Ravindra Jadeja played a decent hand with the bat in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants. The all-rounder came to bat at No.4 and played a vital innings after the team lost two early wickets in Ajinkya Rahane and Daryl Mitchell at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. 

Ravindra Jadeja scored 16 runs off 19 balls and hit two boundaries in his innings. He stitched a valiant partnership with skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and bailed the team out of trouble. The duo added 52 runs for the partnership and helped the team get past 100 runs on the board. 

After Jadeja got out, it was skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad, who took the charge and played a blinder. The skipper brought up his second ton in the Indian Premier League and made sure that his team went past 200 runs against Lucknow Super Giants in the 39th game of the tournament. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad ended with an innings of unbeaten 108 runs off just 60 balls. He batted with the strike of 180 and also slammed 12 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. Apart from him, Shivam Dube supported him well with his 66-run knock as Chennai Super Kings posted a total of 210 runs on board.

Shivam Dube talked about his innings, saying that the home crowd pushes him to do a bit more with the bat. He talked about his plans when he came to bat with Ruturaj Gaikwad, saying that he decided to take the bowlers on. 

Shivam Dube was also optimistic about Chennai Super Kings having a winning total on the board. He believes that they have added 10-15 runs extra and they need to bowl well. He explained: 

"Especially the support from the crowd is amazing. We love to play in Chennai. All grounds are like home grounds but this is what pushes me a little more. Rutu needed 1 over to recover after playing for a long time so I decided to take the bowler on. 

"We have scored a lot of runs, we are 10-15 runs above par. We definitely need to bowl well but we have got 10 runs more. Enjoyed a lot when Rutu bats, his class is on a different level," he concluded.
