David Miller Bought By Lucknow Super Giants For INR 7.50 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Veteran South Africa batter David Miller will be taking part in the IPL auction once again. The left-handed batsman has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at a base price of INR 1.5 crores.
Miller has been plying his trade in the IPL since 2012. From 2012 to 2019, the Proteas star played for Punjab Kings. He is still Punjab Kings' third-highest run-scorer.
In 84 games for the Punjab-based outfit, the 35-year-old scored 1974 runs with the help of one century and nine half-centuries.
In 2020 and 2021, Miller represented Rajasthan Royals. He played just one game in 2020 before scoring 124 runs in 9 games in 2021. In the 2022 mega auction, newcomers Gujarat Titans signed up David Miller.
The southpaw enjoyed a brilliant season with the bat, showcasing his finishing skills once again as Gujarat Titans won the IPL in their first-ever season. Miller scored 481 runs in 16 games. He scored more than 200 runs in IPL 2023 as well as IPL 2024.

Lucknow Super Giants have signed up David Miller for INR 7.50 crore. Miller's former team Gujarat Titans opened the bid with Royal Challengers Bengaluru registering the second bid. Delhi Capitals also joined the race but pulled out. In the end, Lucknow Super Giants made the winning bid.
