Recently, David Miller was asked about his thoughts on the T20 World Cup 2024 final between India and South Africa in Barbados. Miller didn't shy away from expressing his thoughts and claimed that Suryakumar Yadav's foot had touched the boundary while he caught the ball.
"Yeah it was always going to be close and it's just so weird that whole boundary rope was there. That 2-3 meter space where SKY (Suryakumar Yadav) caught the ball, um... but look, it was a six, I mean it was out at the end of the day, and umm... it wasn't to be," Miller said.

Suryakumar Yadav's catch for the ages to dismiss David Miller
It was a historic catch from Suryakumar Yadav that turned the game in India's favor. Suryakumar took this catch in the first ball of the last over. Pacer Hardik Pandya bowled a wide full toss and David Miller tried to launch it straight down the ground.
However, Suryakumar Yadav ran from long-off and took one of the most sensational catches ever. He caught the ball near the boundary line and realising that he was going over the ropes, he threw the ball up in the air.
Suryakumar came back inside the boundary as the ball was up in the air and took the catch cleanly in the end. The third umpire was called upon to check the boundary and he ruled it in India's favor. It was a catch that almost killed the game for South Africa.
The Proteas required 16 runs off the final over but Miller was the last recognised batter to be dismissed. He was out for 21 off 17 balls and had to walk back dejected in the dressing room. India finally went on to win the match by 7 runs in the end and lifted the trophy.
