The tally is expected to be further increased as the team has entered the semi-finals.
The ongoing form has helped Deepti Sharma to gain some points and make forward steps ahead in the ICC rankings for the women's T20 International rankings of the bowlers. Deepti advances two spots to capture the 6th spot with 709 points.

Deepti Sharma started his Asia Cup 2026 campaign by taking 3 wickets against the Thailand Women's cricket team. In that match, the 29-year-old scalped thrice without offering a single run to the opposing team. In the following two matches, which were against the Hong Kong Women's and Pakistan Women's cricket teams, the Indian spinner claimed 3 and 2 wickets, respectively.
