Islamabad United overseas players Devon Conway, Richard Gleeson, and Andries Gous recently traveled to Dubai on April 18 during a short mid-season break. The trio spent their time golfing at the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis Course, making use of the gap between their Pakistan Super League matches.

Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings by eight wickets with four overs remaining in their recent match. The team delivered a dominant performance at the National Bank Stadium on Thursday, April 16. Captain Shadab Khan led the team confidently to their fourth win of the ongoing tournament.

Devon Conway, Richard Gleeson, and Andries Gous Take Mid-Season Break

Islamabad United players Devon Conway, Richard Gleeson, and Andries Gous were seen enjoying a short break in Dubai on April 18, 2026, during a gap in the PSL 2026 schedule. The trio used the break to unwind before their next fixture.

Richard Gleeson shared a story on Instagram showing the group at the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis Course. In the post, he thanked Arron Lilley for “sorting them out,” while the players posed with golf clubs against the city skyline.

Islamabad United’s next match is scheduled for April 23 against Rawalpindiz at the National Stadium in Karachi. The short break gives the players time to relax and recharge before returning to action.

Islamabad United Dominate Karachi Kings with Clinical Chase in PSL 2026

Karachi Kings struggled to build momentum on a spin-friendly surface, finishing at 150 for six. Reeza Hendricks top-scored with an unbeaten 51 off 44 balls, while Jason Roy added 39 from 27. Azam Khan contributed 34, as Islamabad bowlers maintained tight control throughout the innings.

Islamabad United made a strong start in the chase of 151. Devon Conway and debutant Sameer Minhas built a solid 93-run opening stand in 10 overs. Minhas scored 58 off 36 balls with 10 boundaries, while Conway remained unbeaten on 53 off 36 deliveries.

Shadab Khan ensured a comfortable finish with an unbeaten 31 off 16 balls. He struck a six against Adam Zampa and two more against Hasan Ali. Islamabad United reached 153 for 2 in 16 overs, completing a dominant chase with ease.

Islamabad United Hold Second Spot in PSL 2026 Points Table

In PSL 2026, Peshawar Zalmi are at the top position of the table with 13 points, and an impressive net run rate of +2.404, recording six wins and one no result. Islamabad United are second with nine points and a net run rate of +1.481.

Multan Sultans are in third place with eight points and a net run rate of +0.527. Quetta Gladiators sit fourth with six points and a net run rate of +0.483. Hyderabad Kingsmen also have six points but are fifth due to a negative net run rate of -0.470 after seven matches.

Karachi Kings are sixth with six points and a net run rate of -1.501. Lahore Qalandars are seventh with four points and a net run rate of -1.020. Rawalpindiz remain at the bottom without a win, with zero points and a net run rate of -1.821.
