Mumbai stalwart Dhawal Kulkarni is set to bring down the curtains on his illustrious career after the upcoming Ranji Trophy game against Assam, as per TOI. It will be Mumbai’s last league game of the ongoing Ranji Trophy season.

The match is scheduled to begin on Friday (February 16). The veteran bowler has played three of Mumbai’s six games this season. After being benched for the tournament opener against Bihar, he played his first game of the season against Andhra last month. He picked up 3 wickets in the first innings and one in the second as Mumbai won the game by 10 wickets.

In the following game against Kerala, Dhawal Kulkarni went wicketless in the first innings before picking two in the second innings, helping his side win the game by 232 runs. He could not make it to the playing eleven for the game against Uttar Pradesh.

Mumbai lost that game by 2 wickets and recalled the veteran for the following game against Bengal. Against Bengal, Dhawal Kulkarni managed to take just one wicket and was dropped once again for the clash against Chhattisgarh.
