While KL Rahul failed to make an impact, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) star impressed one and all with his explosive batting in Australia despite playing for the first time there and coming along with the senior batter at the last minute as a trial for the upcoming five-match Test series.

Well, the former Indian wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik has made a bold statement, confirming that Dhruv Jurel is highly likely to feature in the playing XI for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 in Australia.

Dinesh Karthik said on Cricbuzz: “100% YES! Dhruv Jurel will start that Test series as a pure batter, and that's going to be the start of something very special for him. That kid will do wonders.”

Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik has confirmed that he is going to the IPL 2025 mega auctions in Jeddah as a batting coach of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). When asked about his own participation in the auction, the former cricketer fueled excitement among fans, hinting that the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah could see some surprising twists.
