Former India keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik and squash star Dipika Pallikal have revealed the name of their third child. An announcement came on March 19th through an Instagram post. From Dinesh Karthik’s official account.
The couple welcomes Raaha Pallikal Karthik, their third child, with a heartwarming message on social media. It is their third child after Kabir and Zian.

“With blessings in our hearts and gratitude beyond words, we joyfully welcome our precious girl into this world. Kabir and Zian are thrilled to introduce their baby sister, Raaha Pallikal Karthik. Love, Dipika & Dinesh,” Dinesh and Dipika shared the message in their Instagram post.

Dinesh Karthik and Dipika Pallikal welcomed their twins in 2021 after getting married on August 25, 2015, in traditional Hindu and Christian marriage rituals.
Dinesh Karthik enjoyed an illustrious career
Karthik, a former Team India keeper-batter who represented the team in 26 Tests, 94 ODIs, and 60 T20Is, had a pretty significant international career with the Men in Blue. In those numbers of Tests, he gathered 1025 runs, in T20Is, his total number of runs was 686, and in ODIs, the versatile batter registered 1752 runs in total.
He did a decent job as well in the Indian Premier League as well for multiple franchises. After featuring for 6 different IPL teams, which were Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Gujarat Lions, he got 4842 runs in 257 matches.
After taking retirement from his professional cricket career, Karthik transformed himself into a well-known commentator and cricket expert. His stint with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru as the batting coach in the IPL 2025 helped the team to claim their maiden IPL trophy in a dominating manner.
He is currently continuing the same role ahead of the IPL 2026 season as well. Under the guidance of the head coach, Andy Flower, and bowling coach Omkar Salvi, RCB is embracing itself to defend its hard-earned title.
The support staff of the team also contains Richard Halsall as assistant coach, Malolan Rangarajan as spin bowling coach and player identification manager, and Basu Shanker as strength and conditioning coach. As the team physios, they have appointed Evan Speechly and James Pipe as the doctors of the team; there is Dr. Shikha Dhaundiyal, and Navnita Gautam is working as the athletic therapist.
Dipika Pallikal secured a gold medal in mixed doubles
If we talk about Dipika Pallikal, she is one of the most distinguished squash players across the countries. Dipika last competed at the Hangzhou Asian Games in October 2023, where she secured a gold medal in mixed doubles. He achieved the feat after returning from maternity leave in early 2022. In the same year, after making a comeback, she claimed two titles at the World Doubles Squash Championships and earned a bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
