Duleep Trophy 2024: ‘Bring back Ishan Kishan’ trends, Rishabh Pant called 'fraud' after batter's terrific ton

Fans on Twitter reacted after India National Cricket Team keeper-batter Ishan Kishan slammed a blistering century in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024 while playing for India C against India B. The game between teams is underway at the Rural Development Trust Stadium B in Anantapur.

Kishan has made a grand return to the red-ball cricket in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024. The keeper-batter made a surprise entry in the India C squad for the ongoing game against India B and made sure that he took the cricket fraternity by storm with his heroics.

Kishan, who missed the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024 due to a groin injury, made sure that he set the stage on fire and bailed his team out of trouble. The keeper-batter came to bat after the team lost two wickets in quick succession of time along with skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad getting injured as well.

Kishan played a positive approach and slammed the bowlers all over the park. The left-hander first slammed a terrific half-century but after that made sure that he carried on and made a statement, especially after the tough last few months that he has been going through.

Kishan brought up his century in 121 balls and gave a strong reply to all the critics. He ended with an innings of 111 runs off 123 balls and also slammed 14 fours and 3 sixes in his innings before getting castled by Mukesh Kumar.

Kishan, who was terminated from the BCCI's central contract, made a return to domestic cricket through the Buchi Babu tournament and made an instant impact as he slammed a terrific century for the Jharkhand in the tournament and announced his arrival in style. With him slamming a ton in the Duleep Trophy, it won't be a surprise if he makes a return to the Indian team.
