The England and Wales Cricket Board has confirmed that Trent Bridge and Headingley will host the opening Test matches of the 2027 Men's and Women's Ashes series. England will host both marquee series in the same summer, with the men's series beginning on June 18 and the women's series starting on June 24.
The schedule will follow the same format used during the 2023 home summer. Both Ashes series ended in draws. The men's five-match Test series finished 2-2, while the women's multi-format series ended 8-8 on points. Australia retained the Ashes in both competitions during England's 2023 home summer.
ECB Unveils Schedule for 2027 Men's Ashes Series
The Men's Ashes series will begin at Trent Bridge in Nottingham from June 18 to June 22. It will be the venue's first Ashes Test since 2015. Stuart Broad produced remarkable figures of 8/15 in the last Ashes Test. The series will then move to Lord's from June 30, followed by the third Test at Edgbaston on July 8.
The fourth Test will be played at the Utilita Bowl in Southampton from July 21 to July 25. It will be the first Men's Ashes Test at the venue. The fifth and final Test will take place at The Kia Oval in London from July 29 to August 2.
Before the Ashes begins, Australia will face England Lions in a four-day warm-up match at Emirates Old Trafford from June 7 to June 10. The England and Wales Cricket Board and Cricket Australia agreed to schedule the match to help Australia prepare for the series.

Women's Ashes 2027 Schedule Released
The Women's Ashes will begin with a four-day Test at Headingley in Leeds from June 24. It will be the first women's Ashes Test at the venue since Australia toured England in 2001.
After the Test, the series will move to the three-match Vitality T20I series. The first T20I will be played at Trent Bridge on July 3, followed by matches at The Kia Oval on July 6 and Emirates Old Trafford on July 9. The two teams recently met in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup final.
The multi-format series will end with three ODIs. The first ODI will be played at the Utilita Bowl on July 13, followed by the second at Lord's on July 16. The final ODI will take place at Edgbaston on July 20, where England will look to win back the Ashes from Australia.
