However, Durham and the ECB will keep a tab on his injury, with him being named in the 16-man squad for the upcoming three-match series. They will hope that Gay is fit ahead of the series.
Emilio Gay has scored two fifties in 6 innings since making his debut. The Southpaw has scored 139 runs in three matches with an average of 23.16. However, his average does not showcase the talent he has in the traditional format of the game. He recently scored a hundred in the Metro Bank Cup for Durham, scoring 104* runs.
