Shadab Khan's form woes exposed in awkward fan encounter 

Well, Shadab, who is known for his dynamic skills with both bat and ball, has been struggling for form lately, and he went wicketless in the last two T20Is against England and Ireland. Additionally, his economy rate has surged above 12 runs per over, raising concerns among fans ahead of the showpiece event.

Meanwhile, the recent encounter with the fan left Shadab uncomfortable yet embarrassed, as the female Pakistani supporter posed a direct question regarding his recent performances with the ball. As he is experiencing a dip in form ahead of the mega event, she expressed her disappointment at how the spinner is leaking runs in the ongoing T20I series against England.

In the video going viral on social media, a female fan can be seen asking Shadab: “Aap chakke kyun kha rahe hain? Form mein wapis aayein. Wicketein leni hai aapne (Why are you conceding sixes? Get your form back. You need to pick wickets).”

Meanwhile, England is currently leading the ongoing four-match T20I series 1-0 after securing a 23-run victory over Pakistan in the second T20I held at Edgbaston after the first match was abandoned in Leeds due to rain, followed by the third game as well in Cardiff. They will play the final T20I on May 30 at The Oval.

Pakistan will begin T20 WC 2024 campaign against the USA

This T20I series is the final bilateral encounter for both England and Pakistan teams before they embark on their journey to the T20 World Cup 2024. The defending champions, England, are set to begin their title defense against Scotland on June 4 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

The England cricket team is slotted with Australia, Oman, and Namibia in Group B at the T20 World Cup 2024, and matches will be held across Barbados and Antigua. On the other hand, Pakistan is placed alongside India, Ireland, Canada, and the USA in Group A for the mega ICC tournament.

The Men in Green will kick off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against the co-hosts, the USA on June 6 in Texas. Then they will face their arch-rivals, India, in the much-anticipated game of the tournament on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
