Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is currently leading the team in the four-match T20I series against England. The series is serving as a great preparation for both teams in the context of the T20 World Cup 2024, which will begin in June in the United States of America and the Caribbean.
The first match between Pakistan and England was washed out due to the rain and then in the second game, the Babar Azam-led side suffered a disappointing loss. However, with two games still remaining in the series, it will be a great opportunity for them to make a comeback and head into the World Cup with confidence.
The third match of the series between England and Pakistan, which will also be a virtual decider between the teams, will be played on Tuesday (28th May) at Cardiff. However, ahead of the game, skipper Babar Azam didn't have a great experience as he was surrounded by the fans while he was seen spending time with his family.
Babar Azam got irritated by the fans as he was seen arranging the car for his family. The Pakistan skipper didn't go easy on the fans and lashed out at them, saying that they should spare him for a few minutes and they should allow him to spend time with his family.

Coming to the cricket front, Babar Azam was recently reappointed as the skipper of the team, having been sacked after the ICC World Cup 2023. However, ever since, he has taken charge again, things haven't been great for him as he hasn't stepped up as the captain of the team.
Babar Azam first drew the T20I series against the second-string New Zealand side and after lost the T20I game against Ireland as well. The start of the series against England didn't go his way either as he would be under pressure.
Babar Azam had a decent outing with the bat in the second game against England. Batting at No.3, the right-hander scored 32 runs off 26 balls and kept his team in the hunt while chasing 184 runs. But after his wicket, nothing went Pakistan's way as they got all out for 160 and lost the game by 23 runs.
We have decided each player's role - Babar Azam after Pakistan’s loss
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam after the loss against England in the second T20I stated that had he along with Fakhar Zaman (45) batted for a while, they could've won the match. He also talked about the roles in the team and also backed his players, who were out of form. Speaking after the game, he stated:
“It was a par score, we bowled well. Small partnership and later on, there was no big partnership. We are flexible, everyone knows their role. We have decided on each player's role. If you are not in good form, we are flexible.
“The way Fakhar dominated. If me and Fakhar had batted for three more overs, things could have been different. (On Imad) He is experienced, he knows how to bowl at different stages, and he has improved a lot with the bat. Shadab is one of the best players, he'll come back. We announced the team (for WC), and we are giving confidence," he concluded.
