England Playing 11 vs Australia- 1st T20I, Australia tour of England 2024

England is set to host Australia for a T20I series and the first encounter takes place on Wednesday, September 11. The Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton is the venue of the clash.

In the absence of Jos Buttler, Will Jacks would move up the order and take the spot of the other opener. Jacks has got a decent experience in the shortest format.

Jacob Bethell

Jacob Bethell is a debutant and England is short of many key batters. Hence, he can be added to the playing 11. He might take the one-down slot. Bethel can also bowl.

Adil Rashid

Adil Rashid is the most experienced spinner for the side in white-ball formats and will lead the spin department. Rashid will have the sole responsibility to attack the Aussies with his spin being a full-time spinner.
