The new opening pair of Jammie Smith and Ben Duckett will continue to open the innings for the hosts in the third and final game of the ODI series against the West Indies.

Duckett started the series well and scored a half-century. The left-hander got good support from his new opening partner, Jamie Smith.

The story was completely different come the second ODI, as both the openers were dismissed in the first two overs of the innings.

Smith, on the other hand, is yet to get a big score in his new role as an opener for England.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Joe Root, Harry Brook (c), Jos Buttler (wk), Jacob Bethell, Will Jacks

The opening batters will be followed by the likes of Joe Root, who scored a match-winning century in the second match and was accompanied by captain Harry Brook, who also made a handy contribution.

The lower middle order has been taken care of by Will Jacks and Jacob Bethell, both of whom stitched crucial partnerships with Joe Root in the previous game.

Having said that, the hosts' middle-order batters will have to prolong their innings and avoid the collapse that the team could have suffered in the last match.

The hosts would be concerned about Jos Buttler's form as the former captain got out for a duck in the second outing, which put the team under a bit of pressure in the middle overs.

Bowlers: Matthew Potts, Brydon Carse, Adil Rashid, Saqib Mahmood

ENG will be elated by the way their bowlers came back strongly into the match in the second ODI at the backend of the West Indies batting innings.

Saqib Mehmood was the pick of the bowlers for England, who ignited a collapse for West Indies as they were reduced from 205/3 to 308/10 all out.

Mahmood picked up his second three-wicket haul of the series and now has a total of six wickets from two matches in his bag.

Mahmood was well supported by Brydon Carse and Matthew Potts, who kept building pressure from one end.

The fast bowling department will have to once again take responsibility for themselves in the absence of a fourth fast bowling option who can be relied upon to bowl a few overs when the need arises.

England will once again depend on Adil Rashid to pick wickets in the middle overs and will need good assistance from batting all-rounders like Will Jacks and Jacob Bethell.
