Former England Cricketer Nasser Hussain talked about the upcoming Test series between the Pakistan National Cricket Team and the England National Cricket Team. He said that Shan Masood-led side shouldn't be taken lightly and winning in Pakistan won't be an easy job.

Pakistan National Cricket Team are all set to host England National Cricket Team for the three-match Test series. The series between the teams will get underway on 7th October at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan followed by the second game to be played at the same venue from 15th October. The series will conclude in Rawalpindi, which will host the last game from 24th October.

Pakistan National Cricket Team have been struggling to get going in Test cricket for the last few months. They recently suffered a 2-0 loss against Bangladesh National Cricket Team and even before that, they went on to lose games and series at home because of their poor performance.

Pakistan also lost to England last time when they hosted the Three Lions. The Ben Stokes-led side whitewashed the opposition by the margin of 3-0 and would be hoping to achieve this time around. They would be optimistic about the same, having played a terrific brand of cricket.

Nasser Hussain, ahead of the series, touted Pakistan as a mercurial side, stating that one would be a fool if they would think winning against Shan Masood-led side would be an easy job for anyone. Speaking to Sky Sports, he explained:

"Pakistan are always a mercurial side that have ups and downs, but at the moment, they're on a real low, in all formats. They didn't have a great (T20) World Cup. They've got another coach-captain combination in Jason Gillespie and Shan Masood, their star batter Babar Azam hasn't got a half-century in his last eight Test matches and has just given up the white-ball captaincy. But you'd be a fool to say that going to Pakistan and winning is an easy job to do."

I think all eyes will be on Pakistan and whether they can up their game - Nasser Hussain ahead of Pakistan vs England Tests

Nasser Hussain further said that Pakistan are proud cricketing nation and they will be a massive force at home. He believes that all the eyes will be on the Shan Masood-led side as they will have to up their game. He explained:

"They're a very proud cricketing nation, they won't like the slump that they're in, and they will still be a force at home. I think all eyes will be on Pakistan and whether they can up their game, because I think we sort of know what we're going to get from Ben Stokes and his team."

Both England and Pakistan have announced their squads for the three-match Test series. The Shan Masood-led side have started their training for the same and will be keen to win the series. They will have a major point to prove, especially after they lost to Bangladesh in the last series.
