The second Test is all set for an exciting final day at Lord’s as all possible results are still in contention and it could be a big day in the series as well. England managed to get significant help from the rain in the first Test as the final day was washed out but they have come up really well in the second Test putting up some better batting and bowling performances against India.
The day five weather is expected to be cloudy throughout like day four and day three while there might be some thunderstorms coming prior to the start of the day’s play. The precipitation factor is 20 per cent and there are very few chances of rain in the day.
The humidity will remain at an average of 60 per cent and the temperatures are set to fall around the maximum of 26 degrees and a minimum of 21 degrees as reported by www.accuweather.com.

Pujara And Rahane Find Form
Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane finally got some runs under their bank to keep their places on hold and also to reduce the pressures on them. They shared a 100 run partnership for the fourth wicket when at a time India lost their skipper Virat Kohli and India were in all sorts of trouble at 55 for three. They took a lot of time to get the partnership going but eventually it did pay off well.
Pujara played 206 balls for his 45 runs while Rahane was the top scorer in the innings so far with 61 runs in 146 deliveries. Both the batters were dismissed before the end of the day’s play and India wanted them desperately at the crease for a much longer time.

England A Nose Ahead At End Of Day Four
England had an excellent first session on day four picking up three crucial wickets of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli. After going wicketless in the second session, it needed a great session at the end of the day’s play and they did finish on a good note with wickets of Pujara, Rahane, and Jadeja.

India has a lead of 154 for the loss of 6 wickets at the moment with Rishabh Pant at the crease and Ishant Sharma at the crease.
