Middle-order batter Ambati Rayudu will not be a part of the Chennai Super Kings outfit in IPL 2024. He retired from IPL cricket after winning an IPL trophy with the franchise last season which was CSK’s fifth overall in IPL history.
Chennai Super Kings beat the Gujarat Titans by five wickets with Rayudu playing an important cameo of 19 off 8 balls in the run chase. CSK needed four off the final ball with Ravindra Jadeja hitting it away for a boundary. CSK and Mumbai Indians are now two of the most successful franchises in the IPL with 10 titles between them winning five each.
