Former Team India keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik shared a meaningful post on his social media account 'X ' after the resignation of India's education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan. Pradhan informed that he submitted his resignation letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the relentless protests by the youths in Delhi and across the nation.

Multiple former and active cricketers expressed their opinions over the students' protest, led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in the capital city over the NEET paper leak. Dinesh Karthik is the latest one in the list of Indian cricketers who raised their voice in support of the youths.

Dinesh Karthik stands by the side of the young generation of India

In his 'X' post, which he shared on July 25 afternoon, Dinesh Karthik wrote that at the end of the day, the nation is moving forward towards a better India.

The words Karthik has used in this post clearly indicate his support for the young generation and the students who forced the government to make a change. The former cricketer is in awe of what he just witnessed in the last few days, followed by the outcome.

"At the end of the day, we're all working towards a better India. The clarity, collaboration, and relentlessness of the younger generation is something that I'm extremely in awe of. The future is bright, and the next generation is going to take us to new heights," Dinesh Karthik mentioned in his post.

The students' protest in Delhi became an international topic because of its amplitude. At the initial stage, which was mostly limited to the capital city of India, it gradually emerged as a national issue and then attracted attention from the international media.

The youth movement developed as a serious challenge for the Narendra Modi-led Central Government. On Saturday, Dharmendra Pradhan informed that, considering the situation at Jantar Mantar and across the nation, he sent his resignation to the Prime Minister.

“Considering the situation that has arisen at Jantar Mantar and ‌across the country, so that anti-national forces do not take advantage of this situation … I have sent my resignation letter to the Prime Minister,” Pradhan wrote in a social media post.

“I deeply respect the aspirations, feelings, and legitimate expectations ‌of the country’s youth,” he added.

Multiple Indian cricketers showed their support for the youths

India captain Shubman Gill, fast bowler Akash Deep, former cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Irfan Pathan, and multiple other personalities from Indian cricket and the Indian sports industry had expressed their opinions on the students' protest.

However, the social media post of Dinesh Karthik attracted mixed reactions from his followers as he shared his thoughts after the conclusion of the protest. One of the demands of the protest was the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan; he resigned amid the growing pressure.

While Shubman Gill, Sachin Tendulkar, and others' reactions surfaced during the protest, Karthik’s reaction came late, after the resignation of India's education minister.
