The restaurant in attention is the one that provides meals for the Indian cricketers when they are in Sydney. However, the owner realized that it was a scam when he found out that the Indian team wouldn’t be there on the said date (January 5).

The scam was reported to the police, as well as the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s ScamWatch service. The New South Wales Police also confirmed it was a “fraudulent event” and urged people who had paid the scammer to get in touch.

After leading India to a memorable victory in Melbourne, which levels the series, Ajinkya Rahane once again has to make a couple of tough calls. The major one being who will be dropped for the incoming Rohit Sharma for the Sydney Test.Since Sharma is made the vice-captain of the team, he will play the third Test, however, it is yet unconfirmed that whether he will open – and if he does, who would he replace – or will he slot in the middle-order. Mayank Agarwal struggled in the first two Tests while Shubman Gill looked solid in Melbourne making the former’s position fragile as the Mumbai Indians skipper is ready for a comeback.

Apart from Rohit Sharma is confirmed to make his way into the eleven, the management has to make a call on the three options available – Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur, and T Natarajan – to fill the position of speedster Umesh Yadav, who injured his calf in the second Test.
