Fear of chaos in Cuttack? Security tightened for India vs England ODI at Barabati stadium

India National Cricket Team are all set to host England National Cricket Team in the three-match ODI series ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The series is all set to begin tomorrow (6th February) at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur.
After that, the focus will be moving to the second ODI, which will be played on Sunday (9th February) at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha. The last match of the series between the teams is slated to take place on Wednesday (12th February) at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.
High-level meeting was held between officials from the district administration to ensure security for the second India vs England ODI
The preparations for the India vs England series are in full flow. Apart from the players, the management of all three stadiums has made sure they are right on the money in terms of security and other logistics ahead of the game between the two cricketing giants.
The Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha, where India will be playing the second ODI, will see security being strengthened. As per the reports in PTI, it is learned that the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) will also do beautification, sanitation, and fogging operations in the vicinity ahead of the match.
The reports claimed that a high-level meeting was held between officials from the district administration, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), the Odisha Olympic Association, police and health departments, and the CMC related to the arrangements for the second ODI between India and England.

Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police Jagmohan Meena talked about security, saying that entry and exit of people will be regulated through four designated gates. Speaking to PTI related to the same, he explained:
"The entry and exit of people will be regulated through four designated gates, with personnel stationed to manage security and sanitation."
Special bus services will operate for fans for the second India vs England ODI, almost 15 individuals were injured in the attempt to buy tickets
Not only this, the reports added that the district health department will also deploy ambulances and medical teams for emergency response on the match day. The food safety officers also have been asked to monitor hygiene standards at stalls.
The reports added that there will be, special bus services will operate from Cuttack's Netaji Bus Terminal, Trishulia, and the railway station to make things smooth for the fans. This was confirmed by one of the officials of the PTI.
The excitement for the India vs England has been massive in Cuttack. As per the reports in Dainik Jagran, it is learned that there has been a hotchpotch among the fans to buy the tickets. It is reported that almost 15 individuals have been injured.
