Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been shot in an assassination attempt. He though has been cleared of any serious injury;4 people have been injured in the shoot-out The former Cricketer was leading the march on the capital Islamabad to demand snap elections.
In the previous month, the election commission had disqualified Imran Khan for 5 years from holding public office in a case. The Legendary Cricketer has been accused of not declaring gifts from foreign dignitaries.
Assassination Attempt on Imran Khan
A senior member of PTI was seen interacting with APF News Agency and gave an update on the incident. “This was an attempt to kill him, to assassinate him. A male suspect was later arrested,” said the member.

Skipper Imran Khan was quite instrumental in the 1992 World Cup campaign where the team won its first-ever championship. It won’t be wrong to say that he revolutionized Cricket in Pakistan. The all-rounder had played 175 ODI matches in which he took 182 wickets and 3,709 runs as he was one of the greatest all-rounders the game has ever produced.
